Scientific biography

After graduating from Smith college (Massachusetts, USA), Nate joined the Paris Eye Imaging team in 2019 working at the Quinze Vingts hospital as an engineer developing imaging and image processing protocols for clinical studies on diseases such as retinitis pigmentosa and age-related macular degeneration. Nate completed a masters in Neuroscience from Sorbonne University (2023) where he has now continued onto a PhD in Physics. His project is focusing on imaging of in vitro/ex-vivo retinal samples in pursuit of devlopping optical tools to assess retinal function using dynamic full-field optical coherence tomography (DFFOCT) - a high resolution, non-invasive microscope.
