Scientific biography

Kiyoko Gocho works as a researcher at Paris Eye Imaging lab clinical investigation center at Paris Quinze-Vingts National Eye Hospital. She is also a visiting associate professor of ophthalmology at the Nippon Medical School in Tokyo, and a visiting ophthalmologist at the Kobe Eye Center in Japan. She previously worked as an associate ophthalmology professor, ophthalmic surgeon, and director of international relations at the Nippon Medical School. Her research is focused on the translation of new high-resolution retinal imaging technologies and biomarkers, from laboratory inception to clinical applications. Her goal is to provide enhanced techniques for the prevention and diagnosis of diseases that impact the posterior part of the eye, as well as the evaluation and personalization of therapies.
